INTEREST GROUPS

Our members may form their interest groups within our Club. Some have formed biking Groups to ride locally or overseas. We also organise regular Nature Walks in Singapore and members do not pay any fee for Nature Walk whereas non-members donate between $2 and $5 per person.

CHARITY & SOCIAL SERVICES

In addition to outdoor activities, we also organise charitable activities & Social Services locally and overseas. Each year we organise the Annual Spring Cleaning whereby members clean selected homes (mainly old folks living in one room HDB flat) in Singapore. Since 1970, the annual Spring-Cleaning events have been kindly sponsored by LeChamp & Company. During some of our overseas trips we include charitable activities like donating useful items to village schools and children. The costs of the donations are usually sponsored by the members of the trip.

TREKKING

One of our most active activities is to organise trekking locally or overseas. We organise the Choo Choo Trek where members explore the old KTM railway lines in Bukit Timah areas. Trekking in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is also one of our popular activities.Trekking in Malaysia since the formation of the Club in 1963 is our regular events in our activities calendar.

ADVENTUROUS

Our activities cater for the hard-core adventurers to the lay adventurers. The trips are planned by our seasoned organisers with the interest of the Trip members at hearts. They decide on the cost, destination, duration etc before the commencement of each trip. We are not a tour company but a not-for- profit outdoor organisation registered with the Registrar of Societies.
