“ORDINARY” MEMBERSHIP

FILL UP THE membership form (below) and transfer by DBS PayNow to UEN S63SS0045DDBS the membership fee. Thereafter, please SUBMIT TO US the membership fee and bank transaction details.

New member pays $80* and get two years membership. (applicable from 1st January 2021 till 31st December 2023). For members who joined from 01 January 2023 to 31 Dec 2023, you will receive the 60th Anniversary T-Shirt and a bandana.

New members will enjoy the following benefits:

Discounted overseas trips (Non-member pays trip levy)
Free Nature/local walks- (Non-member pays $2 to $5 per person)

Invitation to Members’ Bonding events like members’ Night, Family Bonding Camp (at discounted rates)

One vote at Annual General Meeting (AGM is normally held in March)
Can be nominated to stand for election as ato Management Committee Member after one year of membership. (Just attend AGM and stand for election)

Events Updates – Regular e-mail updates or WhatsApp messages on Club activities, adventure-related news and events.

Basic Adventure Training Courses- members will benefit various outdoor skills like rope works, first aid outdoor cooking and camping.

“FAMILY” MEMBERSHIP

Please email to email@sac.sg to notify us that you are keen to sign up as Family Membership (up to 4 persons per family) and will email you an application form. Family membership enjoys the same benefits like Ordinary Membership except they will not be entitled to submit cast a vote during the AGM.

“JUNIOR” MEMBERSHIP

If you are between 12th years and 17th years old and can obtain the consent of your parent, you can join us as “ Junior Membership”

Please email to email@sac.sg to notify us that you are keen to sign up as Junior Membership and we will email you an application form. Junior membership enjoys the same benefits like Ordinary Membership except he/she will not be entitled to submit a vote during AGM.

Statement of Indemnity for joining all SAC activities & Declaration *
I understand that participation in the activities of the Singapore Adventurers' Club is completely voluntary and entirely at my own risk. In consideration of the Club accepting me as a member, I hereby undertake that I will make no claims against the Club in respect of and will at all times hereafter indemnify and keep the Club fully indemnified from and against all claims for damages, costs, injuries, death, and other demands, howsoever arising, which may be made or claimed against the Club or which the Club may incur by reason of or in connection with my participation in the Club's activties. I also understand that the organisers, leaders and co-leaders of the Club's activities act only as agents for the Club and I hereby undertake to similarly indemnify and keep them fully indemnified from and against all claims which may arise or which may be incurred by reason of or in connection with my participation in the Club's activities. I agree that the Club reserves the right to turn down or terminate my participation in or to abort or terminate any of the Club's activities at any time without assigning any reason whatsoever and I hereby undertake that I will make no claims against the Club in respect of any costs or losses that I may incur as a result of the Club exercising that right. DECLARATION : If my application for membership is approved by the Management Committee, I will abide by the rules and constitution of the club. I understand that if I fail to renew my membership at the beginning of each calendar year, I will cease to be a member of the club.
