Nature Walks (2019)

By Alec Ang.. Mr. Peter Ng, organised a series of Nature Walks in 2019 in forested area of Singapore. Most of the Nature Walks were well attended. The Nature walk to the green corridor pipeline walk attracted more than 150 participants.

A total of 10 Nature walks covering  Punggol Waterway, Cho Choo Trek, Southern Ridges. Lornie Trail of the MacRitchie Reservoir, Pulau Ubin Cycle/walk, Moon cake cum Lantern Night Walk , Dairy Farm and Singapore quarry trail, Chestnut Nature Park (southern and northern loop) etc {Read more….}

Members attending the Nature Walk is free and non members pay between $ 5 and $2 per person.

Each walks cover about 5 hours , starting off early 8am and walking most of the nature reserves areas of Singapore. During the Nature Walk, Peter will share his knowledge of the trees and plants.  We will continue to organise these events and we have created a Facebook Group “SAC Walks” whereby details of each walk will be broadcasted to the group members and they can also upload or download photos taken during these walk.
